OUR WORK IN BRAZIL
Through our First Touch Soccer Program, DCYFC established a $5,000 educational scholarship program at the Escola Técnica de Eletrônica "Francisco Moreira da Costa" in Santa Rita do Sapucaí, Minas Gerais state.
The intensive english language immersion scholarships are awarded to selected students based on a competitive process and factoring in financial need.
The selection committee includes the Head of School, the vice principal, the school priest and several teachers.
No matter where you are in the world, speaking English is a common denominator. Not only does it allow you to communicate with the world but it's a potential ticket to opportunities that might not be available without it.
We awarded 5 scholarships to boys and girls in the picture below. It's our way of saying thanks to the school for hosting the DCYFC players and parents in our annual trip to Brazil.
