CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTIONS
At it's 2nd annual Auction in November 2019, the DCYFC and its members donated $600 to support the eradication of homelessness in Washington DC with a contribution to Friendship Place (www.FriendshipPlace.org).  It is our way of giving back to the community which is at the heart of club's responsibility to promote and support local neighborhood programs to benefit those less fortunate.

In 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019, DCYFC donated $1,000 to the Chotigarn elementary school located in the last designated rural district in northwest Bangkok, Thailand.  A saturday morning english instructional program is being taught to eight boys and girls ages 8-12.  Without this support, the students would be unable to attend the class.  For those experienced in Asian world travel, english fluency is a ticket to a rising lifestyle and better opportunities.  DCYFC is proud to be a sponsor of this program and to give opportunties to the sons and daughters of farmers, street vendors, tuk tuk and cab drivers and tailors, to name a few occupations, that work hard and long hours seeking a better life for their families.

The First Touch Soccer (www.FirstTouchSoccer.org) organization donates most of its revenue to support domestic and international causes.
