Brazilian Summer Soccer Camp in Washington DC
The DC Youth Futbol Club will partner with BR SCORE to host its 2nd Annual Brazilian training-style soccer camp with Brazilian coaches, trainers and additional staff this summer at the Palisades Recreation Center in NW Washington DC.
The camps/clinics have qualified counselors, a physiotherapist and Brazilian coaches including a professional youth coach from Boca Juniors and a female coach from a famous Brazilian team. They will teach the Brazilian style of play through specific training for individual and collective development.
This is a great opportunity for boys and girls in the Washington DC area to develop soccer skills, experience a different culture and have fun with a great group of Brazilian coaches and DCYFC staff!
In conjunction with these clinics, our First Touch Soccer summer camps will also be integrated into the practices and activities. It will operate from 9:00-3:30pm.
We will conduct both morning and afternoon sessions of approximately 2 hours. Sessions will be divided into separate boys and girls groups with ages ranging from 8 to 17. For students still in school for these weeks, we will arrange for earlier morning and late afternoon sessions to accommodate school requirements.
The idea for this program came from the incredible experience 14 boys and 9 parents had in Santa Rita do Supaci in February 2019. The atmosphere was magic, the cultural exchange terrific and the soccer training was amazing. Just ask the DCYFC players and coaches that attended including Jesus, Jeff, Tom, GiGi, John, our traveling parents and Joao, our Brazilian goalie coach, partner and organizer. In fact, we plan to return to Santa Rita in February 2020. Further information will be forthcoming this summer.
